consumption of fuel for a given mission taking into account time, performance,
operational and regulatory constraints.
The fuel
saving methodologies used shall be completely within the scope of the Aircraft Flight
Manual (AFM), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and all applicable national
aviation regulations (e.g. Transport Canada, FAA, DGAC) to ensure flight safety margins are maintained to the highest levels while simultaneously ensuring the most
efficient operation of the aircraft.The balancing between block time requirements and fuel efficiency is key to the analysis of any mission.
The process requires a thorough understanding of aircraft performance and the operational environment, in-depth consultation with the key stakeholders, followed by comprehensive analysis, validation and review.
Aircraft Air Systems Design
Leveraging air systems design knowledge and experience to ensure
efficient and cost-efffective future architectures is another important company
goal.
Air
systems design consultation will be based on expertise gained during working
with Liebherr-Aerospace on the Global Express, Dash 8-400, Challenger 300 and
finally A380 programs.
