The latest version of Specific Range Solutions’ TBM 850 Cruise Optimization Program (v0.2) was presented in Montreal at the 18th Propulsion Symposium on April 27th, 2011, which was part of CASI’s AERO 2011 Conference.
The enhancements to the software include the selection by the user of departure and arrival airports, choice of ISA or forecast weather, calculation of point-to-point distance in NM and true course heading, as well as the input of airframe drag, powerplant wear, fuel price, propeller speed and Bleed System configuration (AUTO or HI).
