Omer Majeed of Specific Range Solutions Ltd. (SRS) has been invited to speak to the Regional Airline Association’s Flight Technology Committee on May 12th, 2016 in Charlotte, North Carolina at their 2016 Annual Convention (www.raa.org).
The subject of his presentation will be maximizing aircraft performance to minimize fuel burn, costs and emissions. Best practices in the areas of flight planning, climb, cruise and descent performance will be shared, as well, a summary of technology development at SRS will be provided.
Specific Range Solutions is currently developing an Electronic Flight Bag-based Flight Advisory System (FAS) to enable more efficient turboprop trajectories to be flown. This project is currently supported under the auspices of the GARDN Program (www.gardn.org).
