Specific Range Solutions Ltd. (SRS) is pleased to announce that it has received financial support and advisory services from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP) to complete the development of its iPad Top of Descent application for regional turboprop aircraft. The app will enable operators to reduce fuel burn and greenhouse gas emissions during the descent flight phase.
SRS would like to thank NRC-IRAP for providing this support. Specific Range Solutions would also like to thank Air Georgian, an Air Canada Partner and FlightSafety International for agreeing to support preliminary simulator testing of the app.
