Specific Range Solutions Ltd. has achieved a milestone in its Green Aviation Research and Development Network (GARDN) project. Within an iOS application, we now have the capability to process upper wind and temperature forecast data for all of North America at 10 km resolution based on compressed raw data received from the Canadian Meteorological Centre (CMC) per their Regional Deterministic Prediction System (RDPS). Access to a general forecast data set is important in providing an accurate flight trajectory optimization solution.
